Enjoy the Science of Movement With SMART MOVE’s Running & Swimming Efficiency Workshop

Movement, like all things, relies heavily on physics. However, the science behind exercises such as running and swimming need not be overly complicated for the ordinary man or woman. Smart Move, with the help of JumpStart, Aqualogic Swim Co., Pilates by Deb Yabut and Groundzero Fitness and Performance, is hosting a “Running Workshop (Science of Running) & Pilates by Coach Joson and Debbie Yabut” on September 12, 2015 and a “Swimming Workshop (Total Immersion) & Functional Mobility by Coach Ria Mackay & Joseph Pagulayan” on September 13, 2015. Both workshops will be held at The Village Sports Club, El. Grande Ave., BF Homes Parañaque, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

These two workshops will allow participants to get to know the specific motor skills and apply it to their own running and swimming forms. The workshops will feature lectures from professionals, videotaping and analysis sessions, and of course, courses and recovery exercises on running and swimming. Supplementing these workshops are specific programs to further enhance one’s control of the body. For those in the Running Workshop, Pilates by Coach Joson and Debbie Yabut will allow them to go through flexibility and strengthening exercises that will provide both endurance and power. For the Swimming Workshop participants, Functional Mobility by Coach Ria Mackay & Joseph Pagulayan will test the range of the human body and allow it to become more mobile while preventing possible injuries.

Each workshop will cost P4,950 per person, or P4,500 per person if an alumni of Aqualogic, Jumpstart, Ground zero or Deb Yabut Pilates. A buddy rate is also available, which is priced at only P9,200 per 2 people.
