Quick Poll: In favor of Bat-Ben?

Ben Affleck as “new” Batman – Yay or Nay?

We’ve seen and watched the likes of Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and Christian Bale play the role of Bruce Wayne aka BATMAN in the same franchise series. And all three men have portrayed the Gotham City hero well and great.

When news broke out that Bostonian Ben Affleck accepted the role as the latest caped crusader opposite Henry Cavill in the Man of Steel 2015 sequel, netizens reacted “Yay!” while most of them opted “Nay!”

My take is that, I’ve enjoyed all performances of Keaton, Kilmer and Bale. Why don’t we give Ben a chance to justify his new role? They’re saying he’s an actor’s actor. Affleck also has more than enough time to prepare and imbibe what it takes to be Batman till production shoot starts with Director Zack Snyder once again on the helm.

Perhaps if Man of Steel 2 can also include Robin and BFF Matt Damon will agree to take a bite, then maybe Ben’s haters and bashers alike will have a softer consideration.

Color Me Storm

Color Me Storm

Are you aware what these Top 3 color codes are during a tropical storm?

With the passing of #LabuyoPH and #MaringPH I have been hearing about but was not personally that aware of *PAGASA‘s color coded warning signals Red, Orange & Yellow. Funny right? Like most of us, the familiarity is with Storm Signals #1, 2 & 3.

And so after a quick research now I know what they mean as far as flood situations go. Like my family and I reside at a low-lying area and near a creek! Hi & hello floodwaters! The next time I hear Mang Tani or any weather forecaster mention Yellow Warning on TV or radio, am not that clueless anymore!

Dear friends, it is really best to get updated and be well-informed especially in this calamity season.
