Welcome Back Renowned Hollywood Acting Coach Ivana Chubbuck

What could be common among Hollywood A-listers Charlize Theron, James Franco, Jessica Biel, Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans, Elizabeth Shue, Sylvester Stallone, Pink and even Halle Berry just to name a very few? Well they’ve all been coached and mentored by renowed acting coach Ivana Chubbuck! ☺☺

Two  years  after  she  first  came  to the  country,  Ivana  Chubbuck,  best- selling author of “The Power of the Actor,” will be returning in the country to hold her second master teaching acting class to selected Star Magic artists.

Ivana will be holding her two­ day workshop for actors of Star Magic and ABS­CBN on September 3 and 4 at the Dolphy Theater. She is best known for being an acting coach to Academy Award Winners and Nominees such as Halle Berry, Jared Leto, Sylvester Stallone, Brad Pitt, Jim Carrey, Charlize Theron, Beyonce, Jessica Biel, Eva Mendez and David Ayer, who happen to be the director of the recent blockbuster, hit Suicide Squad.

The over the weekend master class is set to hone and unveil the acting prowess of some of the finest Star Magic artists namely Jake Cuenca, Jason Abalos, Jason Gainza, Coleen Garcia, Alora Sasam, JV Kapunan, Raphael Robes, Paulo Avelino and even new Kapamilyas Mica Javier and Ritz Azul.

Ivana recalls that Sylvester Stallone gave her a call in the middle of her vacation expressing interest in her acting class. She’s happy that the 69 year old actor won a Best Supp Award and other award recognition he’s not had before.

The  masterclass  would  have  the  aforementioned  actors  staging  scenes  from  Hollywood  films, which  will be  critiqued in  the  same  way  that Ivana does with  Hollywood  stars. Similar to the masterclass two years ago, observers are open to witness the two­day event in order to cull tips from the Hollywood acting trainer. It may be recalled that Star Magic Artist Training Head Rahyan Carlos first invited Ivana to the country two years ago. During that same time, he underwent an intensive teacher’s training program under her, which allowed him to become  proficient  in  the  different  levels  of  acting  classes  from Introductory  to  Master class. Upon conclusion of his training, Direk Rahyan earned the title of being the only Filipino authorized to teach the ‘Chubbuck Technique’ in the Philippines.
