The President also remembered the longstanding history of partnership which both Filipinos and Americans continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder – “balikatan” – in times of war and natural disasters. He paid tribute to the veterans of war as well as servicemen who helped during typhoon #Yolanda.  — Text from US Embassy in Manila (Facebook Page)
